Report to: Chairmen & Board Members
Location: Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, 33 Le Duan Boulevard, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The GBA is one of the first and largest foreign business associations in Vietnam, with more than 360 members from various business sectors, a founding member of EuroCham Vietnam, and a highly respected counterpart in the local community.
As the Executive Director, you will be responsible for:
- The executive director is responsible for leading and managing the GBA’s operations, activities, and services in a community, in alignment with its vision, mission, and values.
- The executive director reports to the GBA’s board of directors and works closely with other stakeholders such as local businesses, government officials, media, and community organizations.
- The executive director oversees the GBA’s functions such as advocacy, business information, corporate partnership, and business networking, as well as its financial and human resources management.
- The executive director represents the GBA in external events and media, builds and maintains relationships with key partners and members, and identifies and develops new opportunities for growth and collaboration.
- Actively enhance the membership engagement and develop value-add member services. Create and implement ideas for (new/improved) activity and program formats, incl. content preparation and moderation.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- University degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Government/International Relations, Law or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a senior management position
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- A strong understanding of the Vietnamese market, culture and legal framework
- A high level of professionalism, integrity and commitment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German and/or Vietnamese is an asset
