Bosch in Vietnam is a subsidiary of the Bosch Group, the leading global supplier of technology and services. Bosch first started its operations in Vietnam in 1994 and registered a wholly-owned subsidiary in 2007. Bosch Vietnam Co., Ltd. has its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City, legally registered in Dong Nai province, with branch offices in Ha Noi and Da Nang. Since 2008, Bosch Vietnam has started to invest into Bosch Powertrain Solutions plant (HcP) in Long Thanh Industrial Zone, Dong Nai. It is the first high-tech production plant for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) pushbelts in ASEAN. In 2011, Bosch inaugurated a Software and Engineering R&D Center (Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd), and established an Automotive R&D Center in 2014, in Ho Chi Minh City. Bosch celebrated its 10 years of operation in Vietnam in 2017 and HcP’s establishment in 2018.
Today, Bosch has diversified businesses in Automotive Aftermarket, Automotive Electronics, Drive and Control Technology, Power Tools, Security Systems and Thermotechnology. Leveraging the Bosch Group’s expertise in sensor technology, software, and services, as well as its own IoT cloud, Bosch offers innovative solutions for smart homes, smart cities, connected mobility, and connected industry.
As of 31 December 2021, Bosch employed roughly 5,000 associates in Vietnam.
