Melchers is a diversified international services group with a historic focus on Asia. C. Melchers GmbH & Co. was founded in 1806 in Bremen, Germany, where the Group still maintains its global headquarters. The Hong Kong office was established in 1866 followed by the Shanghai office in 1877 and Greater China remains a major focus for the Group, which now employs over 1,200 staff in more than 15 countries in Europe and Asia.

Melchers operates in the field of machinery and industrial supplies, digital technology, raw and natural materials, consumer products, and luxury goods. The company also offers commercial services such as procurement, production, sales, and marketing.

The Melchers Group started its activities in Vietnam in the 1980s and officially inaugurated its first branch in Ho Chi Minh City in 1990. Today, Melchers’s trading activities involve a broad range of machinery, industrial materials, printing consumables and testing equipment.
