Thanks for joining our webinar “Decode GBA Business Challenge 2022”

Thank you for attending our webinar “Decode GBA Business Challenge 2022” on last Friday, 17 June organized by German Business Association (GBA), Social startup incubation & training platform (ImpactUp), and Vietnam Research Institute for Innovation & Development (VID)

More than 50 attendees from different universities across Vietnam, we received many good questions from all participants about the competition’s criteria and practical experiences from the GBA Business Challenge 2021’s Champion team.  The most frequent question the Shrimpp team received was to describe their emotion journal through the competition and how they overcame all the challenges to then become the winner.

Vĩnh An, Leader of the Shrimpp Team: “Back to that time we encountered many difficulties which somehow were not able to be described in words, we tried our best to not only balance our study and personal work, but also to complete our group works through online meetings due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We had several conflicts among the team mates when we went to the final stage of our business pitch. This is a big competition that allowed us to challenge ourselves and realize our dreams. Those are the motivations that brought us to this competition. We were there not only because we wanted to become the new champion but also to meet entrepreneurs and potential investors for our project. Through their professional feedback and consultation, we learned a lot from their experience and vision and realized the most feasible directions that we should follow to develop and successfully realize our project. The competition made us understand that every success requires a lot of effort. The greater the challenges, the greater the payoffs. On that journey, we just need to believe in ourselves, definitely success will come, sooner or later”

Besides, our keynote speaker Mr. Markus Gnirck – Founder & CEO of Lecka Vietnam shared his insights on the topic “From founding to scaling a business – Insights from a serial entrepreneur and investor”. He gave his advices to the Vietnamese talents: “Know yourself. Set an auspicious goal. Test and Learn (repeat it 10 times). Love your niche. Learning to invest in yourself may be the most profitable investment you ever make. It yields not only future returns, but often a current pay-off as well”
