The new operation center of DIGI-TEXX Vietnam, located at the ISC Hau Giang Digital Technology Park, not only marks an important milestone in DIGI-TEXX’s development journey but also opens new opportunities for the growth of the digital economy in the Mekong Delta.

The new DIGI-TEXX Operation Center covers 1,700 square meters, operates 24/7, and is expected to create jobs for over 900 workers in Hau Giang Province and the Mekong Delta region, thus contributing to changing the local economic structure, where agriculture still plays a dominant role. This aligns with Hau Giang Province’s policy to shift the economic structure, with a focus on digital economy development.

At the opening ceremony, Frank Schellenberg, Founder and Chairman of DIGI-TEXX, shared the reasons for investing in Hau Giang: “With its increasingly improved digital and transport infrastructure, provinces in the Mekong Delta, such as Hau Giang, are becoming attractive destinations for technology companies. Additionally, the provincial leadership has implemented breakthrough policies that create a favorable investment environment for businesses in the digital sector.”

He further explained: “Technology companies like DIGI-TEXX do not necessarily need to be concentrated in large cities. We just need a stable internet connection and a reliable power supply.”

DIGI-TEXX Vietnam is the first foreign-invested company specializing in business process outsourcing (BPO) to invest in Hau Giang Province.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. La Hoang Trung, Director of the Postal Department, Ministry of Information and Communications; Mr. Truong Canh Tuyen, First Vice Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People’s Committee; and Mr. Christopher Scholl, Deputy Consul General at the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.

The event also saw the presence of Mr. Ingo Brandenburg, Board Member of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham); Mr. Martin Koerner, Vice Chairman of the German Business Association in Vietnam; Mr. Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Executive Chairman of ISC Hau Giang, and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association; along with other distinguished guests in Vietnam and abroad.

The Hau Giang branch of DIGI-TEXX is equipped with the latest systems from Germany and Switzerland, including solar power systems, KNX smart office systems, and water filtration systems. The modern equipment helps DIGI-TEXX reduce carbon emissions, enhance operational efficiency, and create a friendly working environment for employees. This is particularly significant as the Mekong Delta is one of the regions hit hard by climate change and frequent droughts.

DIGI-TEXX is a 100% German FDI company operating in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and digital services in 2003. DIGI-TEXX is one of the pioneering companies in high-quality digital services in Vietnam with over 1,200 skilled professionals.
