“Winning these awards is a great milestone,” said Mr. Destouches. “But what really excites us is seeing how The Ring fits into people’s lives. You put it on in the morning and forget it’s there, but it does everything for you. That is what smart tech should feel like.”
This recognition follows a series of milestones for the company, including its win at the SME100 Asia 2024 Fast-Moving Enterprise Awards and the signing of commercial agreements with banks and building management companies across Vietnam.
In the coming months, The Ring will begin rolling out in thousands of homes, offices, and bank branches. It will allow residents to tap into their buildings, access parking, pay in stores and online, and use public transport including buses, metros, and waterbuses, all without needing a phone or card. With its non-clonable access technology, it is also addressing one of Vietnam’s most pressing urban security issues: cloned apartment and parking cards.
