On December 12, the GBA Members for Members Workshop “Next-Gen Logistics: The Role of EV Trucks in the Green Transition” was successfully held in Ho Chi Minh City. Co-hosted by LOGIVAN Logistics Group and FGF Services and Trading JSC, the event focused on the transition to Electric Vehicles (EVs). The workshop was attended by 20 participants.
The session provided key takeaways that offered a deeper understanding of the potential of electric vehicles to improve logistics outcomes and benefit the environment. Participants recognized use cases where EV logistics can reduce costs compared to diesel trucks, weighed the strengths and weaknesses of EV logistics compared to traditional services, identified the right time and service type to begin an EV logistics trial, and started planning a gradual introduction of EV logistics from 2025 onwards, following an appropriate timescale for their business.
