HCMC, 18 August – The press conference for GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2026 took place in Ho Chi Minh City, officially kicking off the countdown to this year’s celebration across Vietnam. The event brought together media representatives, partners, sponsors and members of the German business community for an exciting preview of the 34th edition of the festival.
The press conference was graced by GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe, GBA Board Members, and members of the GBA Oktoberfest Committee. We were also pleased to welcome our valued partners, including Mr. Daniel Elias Cohen, General Director of LGI, our Official Beer Partner Paulaner, and Mr. Dawson Tan, General Manager of Hotel Nikko Saigon, our Official Culinary Partner in Ho Chi Minh City.
Following the press conference, guests enjoyed a festive mini-Oktoberfest experience, featuring authentic German Paulaner beer, traditional German cuisine, live music and the unmistakable Oktoberfest atmosphere. It was the perfect taste of what awaits at this year’s festival!
