Ho Chi Minh City, 04 December 2023 – The GBA Business Meeting ended the year with a blast, as around 90 participants attended the event at the Vinpearl Landmark 81. The meeting was led by GBA Co-Chairman Mr. Elmar Dutt, who welcomed three distinguished keynote speakers: Dr. Thai Lai Pham, President & CEO of Siemens ASEAN, Mr. Lars Jankowsky, Founder & General Partner of NFQ Asia, and Dr. Nguyen An Nguyen, Founder & CEO of Trusting Social.
The theme of the meeting was “Game Changer – How We Work In The Future”, which highlighted how digitalization and AI can create new possibilities and opportunities for work and life in ASEAN. The speakers, who were leaders and pioneers in their fields, shared their insights and experiences on how to harness the potential of AI across various industries and domains. They also explored how artificial general intelligence (AGI), which is the ultimate goal of AI, can improve customer operations and satisfaction. The audience was enthralled by the presentations and engaged in the Q&A session, where they posed relevant and challenging questions. The meeting was an excellent chance to learn and network with the visionaries and innovators of the digital era.
The GBA Co-Chairmen, Board of Directors and members also took an opportunity to bid farewell to GBA Vice-Chairman Mr. Marko Walde, who had been a vital member of the GBA Board from 2012 to 2023. Mr. Walde left a significant footprint for the growth of the German business in Vietnam. They expressed their appreciation for his excellent contribution and dedication, and wished him all the best for his future endeavors.
