[Recap] GBA x EuroCham: TLSC Excursion to Hai Phong & “Hai Phong Meets Europe” Networking

Hai Phong continues to rise as one of Northern Vietnam’s most dynamic economic hubs—powered by world-class manufacturing, expanding port infrastructure, and a strategic location that connects global supply chains. To offer industry professionals an inside look at this fast-growing landscape, the EuroCham Vietnam Transportation & Logistics Sector Committee (TLSC), in collaboration with the German Business Association (GBA), organized a full-day experiential excursion to Hai Phong in November.

The program combined exclusive company visits, in-depth industry discussions, and a vibrant networking event, creating a platform for meaningful dialogue between European, Vietnamese, and international businesses.

 Highlights from the excursion included:
▪ A deep dive into ZF Automotive Vietnam’s advanced production operations, showcasing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and global-quality processes.
▪ A comprehensive tour of Lach Huyen International Port, exploring operational capacity, infrastructure development, and Hai Phong’s strategic role in regional supply chains.
▪ Exceptional understanding and collaboration from all participants as we navigated unexpected challenges together—reflecting the community spirit that made the day a success.

The day concluded at Wink Hotel Hai Phong with “Hai Phong Meets Europe”, a casual yet dynamic networking session. Nearly 40 professionals from logistics, manufacturing, automotive, and service sectors gathered to exchange ideas, share experiences, and explore business opportunities in Northern Vietnam.

The evening fostered new partnerships and opened conversations about future collaborations between European and Vietnamese enterprises.

GBA, EuroCham and  TLSC extend their heartfelt thanks to all participants, hosts, and partners for their support, engagement, and positivity throughout the day. We look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming activities across the country.
