On August 16, the German Business Association (GBA) hosted an engaging workshop at Bayer Vietnam’s office, titled “Crisis Management.” The workshop, attended by 70 participants, featured keynote speaker Mr. Son Nguyen, Chairman of MVV Group, and panelists Ms. Tram Nguyen, Head of Business Development and Marketing of Starbucks Vietnam and Ms. Lan Trinh, Communications Director APAC of GE Aerospace.
The session highlighted that multinational corporations, particularly those with a significant presence in various regions, must prioritize crisis management training and establish strong response frameworks. The speakers emphasized that readiness is crucial—being prepared can be the difference between successfully navigating a crisis and facing severe reputational and financial consequences.
Key Takeaways:
- The growing need for localized crisis communication strategies that align with regional cultural and business nuances.
- The essential role of crisis simulations and training in ensuring that organizations are proactive rather than reactive.
- The value of collaborative efforts between global and local teams to ensure consistency in messaging and swift responses.
The workshop concluded with a dynamic panel discussion, featuring highly engaged audience participation. This interactive session allowed attendees to delve deeper into the topics discussed and gain personalized insights.
Special thanks to all speakers and participants for their valuable contributions, and to Bayer Vietnam for sponsoring the venue, making this event a success!
