Binh Duong, May 15, 2025 – In a successful collaboration with the German Business Association (GBA) and Swiss Business Association (SBA), Cicor Vietnam welcomed 36 guests for an inspiring workshop and factory tour focused on Smart Manufacturing and Lean Transformation. The workshop offered a unique, first-hand look at how Cicor Vietnam is setting new benchmarks in electronics manufacturing.
The event was opened by Mr. Luat Nguyen, Managing Director of Cicor Vietnam, who shared the company’s impressive journey from a traditional Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) provider to a pioneering smart factory. He highlighted key elements of the transformation, including real-time monitoring (OEE), data-driven decision-making, and automated quality control systems (QDM) that enable Cicor to deliver world-class products with speed, precision, and reliability.
Mr. Tam Ngo, Lean Supervisor, guided attendees through Cicor’s state-of-the-art production floor, showcasing the practical implementation of Lean methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives that have enhanced efficiency, reduced waste, and optimized space utilization.
The workshop and factory tour underscored Cicor Vietnam’s role as a trailblazer in Industry 4.0 among foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam. Participants took away several key lessons:

- Lean methodologies drive measurable improvements in space utilization, process flow, and cost control
