Mr Lý Tấn Can is the Head of Technical Product Management at Dräxlmaier – a leading German automotive supplier specializing in electrical components and wiring systems. He is on an international assignment based in Da Nang since 2021 and was able to obtain international work experience on three continents in different functions as a management trainee. With an engineering & managing career spanning over five years, he has successfully set-up the newest development center based in Tam Ky for Dräxlmaier in Vietnam. Within his current role he is responsible for an international team overseeing the Asian CKD production network of Thailand, India and Malaysia.
With Vietnamese roots, his tenure in Vietnam has provided him profound insights into business dynamics, societal values and traditions. This understanding has been instrumental in the business set-up for Dräxlmaier in an entirely unfamiliar market. As an ambassador for the German Business Association in Central Vietnam, he leverages his unique perspective to foster meaningful connections and collaborations. Lý Tấn Can studied Mechanical & Process Engineering with a specialization in Product Development & Engineering at Düsseldorf and holds a Master degree in Industrial Engineering from Aachen.
