During interviews conducted at the forum, Mr. Alexander Ziehe highlighted the growing importance of sustainable supply chains and responsible business practices in today’s global economy. “We are committed to building a sustainable supply chain and fostering sustainable business operations. This is no longer optional, it is a fundamental requirement of today’s global market,” he stated.
Mr. Alexander Ziehe also emphasized that this commitment is driven not only by the company’s own strategic vision, but also by the increasingly stringent standards imposed by major markets such as the United States, Europe, and Australia. “That is why working closely with and supporting our partners in Vietnam to optimize sustainable business models is critically important, we aspire to bring the most comprehensive and effective solutions from Vietnam to the global stage” he added.
Sharing a complementary perspective, Mr. André de Jong underscored the role of traceability, data transparency, and ESG compliance in strengthening Vietnam’s position within global value chains. “Traceability, data transparency, and compliance with ESG standards have become essential factors for European markets, particularly Germany, when selecting business partners.”
Mr. Andre further noted that data and connectivity are becoming increasingly important in supporting sustainable growth and international business cooperation. “In this context, data and connectivity are the key enablers of success. The time has come for Vietnamese businesses to make a breakthrough, and we stand ready to support and accompany you in turning that ambition into reality.”
As Vietnam accelerates its transition toward a greener and more sustainable economy, partnerships between German and Vietnamese businesses will continue to play a vital role in driving innovation, enhancing industrial performance, and creating long-term value for both economies.
