Congratulations from the German Business Association to the New German Ambassador to Vietnam, Ms. Helga Margarete Barth!
On August 12, 2024, Ms. Barth presented her letter of credence from the Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Tô Lâm. With this formal presentation, she officially begins her duties as the new ambassador of the German Embassy in Hanoi.
On behalf of the GBA Board and the wider business community, we extend our heartfelt congratulations on this significant milestone. Together with the German diplomatic corps and other German institutions, the GBA will participate in the 50th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Germany and Vietnam in 2025. We will proudly represent the contributions of our community over the past decades. The GBA reaffirms its commitment to fostering the German-Vietnamese economic partnership and creating joint success stories.
