The grand finale of the GBA Oktoberfest 2024 was officially opened at Hotel Nikko Saigon on October 10, drawing a vibrant crowd of 1,400 attendees. The festival was inaugurated by the German Deputy Consul General, Mr. Christopher David Scholl, GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe, and the Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam, Mr. Peter Kompalla, through the traditional ceremony of opening the first beer keg with a hammer.
“For 30 years, GBA’s Oktoberfest has been more than just a cultural fest – it is where German-Vietnamese friendships are brewed, and business opportunities are fermented. Representing the GBA, the organizer of the largest Oktoberfest in Southeast Asia, I toast to our ever-strengthening bond,” shared GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe.
