The GBA Oktoberfest 2023 officially kicked off at JW Marriott Hanoi on September 28, with a crowd of 1,500 attendees. The festival has received an overwhelming response with a record-breaking number of 32 sponsors and all 5,000 tickets for the three-night festival in Hanoi have been sold out.
The Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy Hanoi, Mr. Simon Kreye, along with GBA Co-Chairman Mr. Torben Minko, the Deputy Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam Mr. Björn Koslowski, and the management team of JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, inaugurated the festival by the special ceremony of opening the first beer keg with a hammer.
Over 30 years, “GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam” has become an annual event to bring the unique German cultural and traditional experiences closer to the Vietnamese people. In addition to that, the festival has created a bridge for promoting the Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership. We’d like to take this opportunity to extend our appreciation to the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Hanoi, and German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, for their patronage of the GBA Oktoberfest every year.
We also want to express our sincere gratitude to our valuable sponsors, partners, supporters, and especially to our beloved GBA team. Without their great dedication and support, it would not be possible to organize every year such a great festival.
The celebration will continue until Saturday, October 30 at the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi. Subsequent events will take place in Danang on October 6 at the Furama Resort Danang, and the grand celebration will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from October 12 to 14 at the Hotel Nikko Saigon. Experiencing the vibrant Bavarian atmosphere right here in Vietnam is something you definitely don’t want to miss out on! Contact GBA team at email>>> for your inquiries.
