The first GBA Oktoberfest, co-organized by the German Business Association (GBA) and Furama Resort Danang, successfully took place on October 6, 2023. The festival kicked off with a press conference in the afternoon, attracting significant attention from local media agencies.
Representing the GBA, Board Member Mr. Andre de Jong expressed our immense excitement to bring the most authentic German beer festival to the Central Vietnam. The region has seen active investment from Germany, with 11 projects worth 10.3 million USD currently underway. By hosting the GBA Oktoberfest in Da Nang, we are not only showcasing the region’s great economic potential, but also taking a significant step forward in fostering bilateral socio-economic relations between Germany and Vietnam.
Esteemed guests included GBA Board member Mr. Andre de Jong, Mr. Jan-Christian Koldehoff, and GBA Ambassador to the Central Vietnam Mr. Tan Can Ly, our event partner Furama Resort Danang, General Manager Mr. Gentzsch Andre Pierre together with the management team, as well as our sponsors of GBA Oktoberfest Danang 2023.
Following the press conference, the GBA Oktoberfest opened with 500 attendees at the prestigious Furama Resort Danang. All attendees greatly appreciated the opportunity to use the festival as a platform for networking and business cooperation, while also exploring the unique German culture and cuisine.
