HCMC, July 27 – The German Business Association (GBA) Board Members convened for an invigorating mid-year offsite meeting. This gathering was a pivotal moment for reflecting on and realigning the progress of our 2024 GBA strategy. Insights from the latest membership survey helped align the association’s goals for the rest of the year and the near future.
Key Highlights from the Meeting:
▫ Maximizing Membership and Corporate Sponsorship: We continue to focus on supporting our to maximize their membership benefits and corporate sponsorship opportunities.
▫ Member Growth and Engagement: To win new members, we are committed to offering a mix of formats and high-quality events, such as featuring high-level speakers at our Monthly Business Meetings.
▫ Expanding Activities in the North: We are planning further events in the northern regions, including provincial government dialogues in areas where our members are well-represented.
▫ Operational Excellence: With our increased activity level, we are dedicated to the continuous development of the GBA team to ensure operational excellence.
▫ Advocacy Based on Member Feedback: Our advocacy work will focus on addressing the problems identified by our members through recent surveys and dialogue.
▫ Celebrating 30 Years in 2025: The year 2025 will be a decisive year for GBA as we celebrate our 30th anniversary. This milestone will be marked by a new logo, year-long communication celebrating our achievements, and an anniversary gala.
▫ Upcoming Focus Areas: In the coming months, the board will concentrate on making our first GBA first GBA Gala Dinner & Business Awards (August 29) a success by encouraging further participation of the members and organizing a glamorous celebration evening together.
In addition, we will continue to offer members the opportunity to host member-for-member events and deliver an exceptional GBA Oktoberfest celebration across three cities: Hanoi (September 26-28), Danang (October 4), and Ho Chi Minh City (October 10-12).
The GBA Board Members left the meeting with a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm, ready to drive forward the association’s goals and initiatives. We look forward to the continued support and active participation of our members as we navigate the rest of 2024 and beyond.
