HCMC, 25 April – The “GBA Industry Connect” workshop with over 40 industry experts at this members-only event, took place at our member’s venue The Loop Thao Dien. This session topic “Industry 4.0” – was discussed in an open and engaged round, bringing it out from a buzzword topic, to something practicable for everyone.
Starting from general pitfalls, a roadmap towards a successful digital transformation was given. Along with some practical use case studies from a global corporation to an SME in Vietnam, leveraging to all participants the challenges but also opportunities with “Industry 4.0 as a Business Fundamental.”
Later the new format – “Fishbowl” discussion at the core of this workshop – was warmly received by the participants allowing them all to exchange their expertise and experience.

*GBA Industry Connect is a new business event format that allows members from specific industries to get together and exchange on hot topics in their field. We are planning more events in this format for other industries.
