On Saturday, 16 January 2021 it finally happened for the 4th time – our GBA Football Cup. The event took place at Sala City in one of HCMC’s newest sports facilities in Thu Thiem.
110 players joined the tournament, 10 teams fought for the trophy. The teams were led by active GBA members and our GBA board members who all volunteered as captains.
After a day of exciting matches, we are happy to announce to you the winner of the tournament:
Congratulations to Team Green! Captain Ricardo Danziger (Puma Vietnam) and his team won the cup after an exciting match and a thrilling penalty shootout against a strong Team Black, led by Captain Christian Baum (Framas Vietnam). Team Purple with Captain Sang Nguyen (AHK Vietnam) secured the 3rd place.
As always the most outstanding performances were honored with a trophy:
Best goal scorer: [Andre Heskamp, Schaeffler Vietnam]
Best goal keeper: [Trung Nguyen, Karlgross GmbH] & [Stefan Roesner, RSP International Co. Ltd.]
Best female player: [Ho Nhu Quynh, Digi-texx]
