The GBA Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2025 was successfully held on January 20 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The event welcomed 130 members and esteemed guests, including the German Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. The German Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Mrs. Helga Margarete Barth, attended the AGM and praised the GBA’s efforts in strengthening trade relations between Germany and Vietnam. Mrs. Barth remarked, “I am impressed by the broad range of activities of the GBA that I have witnessed since my arrival to Vietnam last summer – all of them targeted towards the deepening of our bilateral economic relations. I am optimistic about the future of our partnership, especially with the election of the GBA’s new, strong, and diverse Board of Directors. The German Embassy and Consulate-General in Vietnam are committed to supporting the new GBA Board, and we look forward to working together, particularly as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam in 2025.”
The AGM came together to review the GBA’s 2024 achievements, highlights, and financial report, and presented future strategic directions, marking its 30th anniversary.
