Schaeffler set-up its first local manufacturing operation in Vietnam 13 years ago with a leased facility to produce Tapered Roller Bearings (TRB), Radial Insert Ball Bearings (RIBB) and Steering Column Bearings (SCB) for Southeast Asian markets.
In 2019, Schaeffler expanded its regional production footprint in Asia Pacific with the most modern manufacturing plant located at Bien Hoa City in Dong Nai province of Vietnam. The plant serves as a global production hub for a range of industrial bearings, including extended range of Radial Insert Ball Bearings (RIBB) and Tapered Roller Bearings (TRB), Schaeffler’s flagship product Needle Ball Bearings (NRB), Deep Groove Ball Bearings (DGBB) and Mast Roller Bearing (HMR).
The product range serves regional and global customers with best-in-class performance for a wide array of industrial sectors such as agriculture, construction, mining, steel, cement, power transmission, food processing, textile, paper, and two-wheelers.
