Hanoi, December 4, 2024 – The GBA celebrated the festive season with our annual Christmas Dinner at Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi Centre. Over 100 GBA members and friends gathered for a memorable evening, showcasing the fantastic growth of the German-Vietnamese business community in the capital.
Unlike our usual business meetings, the Christmas Dinner was designed to create a warm and cozy atmosphere for all our valued GBA members and friends. In a cheerful mood, everyone shared their highlights and achievements of the year and wished for a successful 2024.
The event was graced by the presence of our honored guests: German Ambassador to Vietnam, Ms. Helga Margarete Barth; Deputy Head of Mission, German Embassy Hanoi, Mr. Simon Kreye; Chairman of EuroCham Vietnam, Mr. Bruno Jaspaert; Deputy Chief of AHK Vietnam, Mr. Björn Koslowski; along with the GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Vice-Chairman Mr. Torben Minko, and Board members.
“In 2024, our community, united as the German Business Association in Vietnam, achieved significant momentum. We extend heartfelt thanks to over 400 members and 16 corporate partners for your steadfast support and commitment on behalf of our entire board. Looking back now, we are proud of our joint success as one team, strongly delivering towards our ambitious strategy and bringing positive impact to you. In 2025, we will continue to be your voice and platform in Vietnam, fostering growth opportunities. We will also participate in the 50th anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Germany and Vietnam and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the GBA with memorable events. Let us strive for excellence and success in 2025!” said the GBA Chairman, Mr. Alexander Ziehe.”
We also want to express our special thanks to the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and their teams for their close collaboration. A big thank you also goes to the GBA Board of Directors and the Office team for their dedication to the GBA’s success. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
