The German Business Association (GBA) was pleased to attend the official launch of FurnSpin rotating cabinet solutions and Kitchen Fittings by Hettich Vietnam, held on 15 January 2026 at the Hettich Experience Centre.
The event was honoured by the presence of Ms. Andrea Sühl, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City, highlighting the strong economic ties between Germany and Vietnam and Germany’s long-term commitment to innovation, quality, and sustainable industrial development in Vietnam.
The launch was led by Alexander Ziehe, Vice President South East Asia of Hettich, together with representatives from Hettich Vietnam and key partners from the German and Vietnamese business communities.
GBA was represented by Board Member, Mr. Michael Wekezer, GBA Treasurer, Mr. Max Rummert, Executive Director Mrs. Quynh Anh Le and the Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam Mr. Peter Kompalla.
In her remarks, Consul General Andrea Sühl noted that Hettich’s strong commitment to German quality, engineering excellence, and innovation comes at a particularly important time, as Vietnam’s furniture and interior industry continues to grow rapidly and strengthen its position on the global stage. She further highlighted the dynamic development of Vietnam’s furniture and wood-processing sector, the expanding middle class, and the rising demand not only for higher-quality products, but also for enhanced lifestyles — an area where German companies such as Hettich are well placed to deliver sustainable, long-term value.
