On 24 January 2022, the GBA Annual General Meeting 2022 was successfully organized in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The events in two locations were virtually connected.
The AGM 2022 had the participation of more than 100 members, virtually and in person. We were honored to welcome the honorary guests from the German Embassy, the German Ambassador to Vietnam, H.E. Dr. Guido Hildner, and the Deputy Head of Mission, Head of Economic Section, Mr. Weert Boerner.
In his opening speech, Dr. Hildner highly appreciated the continuous contributions of the GBA to the promotion of trade and business partnerships between German and Vietnamese enterprises. He highlighted also the active contributions and effective cooperation with the German Embassy in the effort of seeking for support of German Government on Covid-19 vaccines for Vietnam, German and staff of German companies in Vietnam.
Successes, achievements, and highlights in 2021 achieved by the GBA were reported to the members by Mr. Alexander Goetz, GBA Chairman, while Mr. Philip Baumann, Treasurer, delivered the key contents of the Financial Report. GBA members have together elected the 12 Board members for 2022.
