Ho Chi Minh City, 15 April – The German Business Association (GBA) and the Swiss Business Association (SBA) have deepened their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Residence of the Swiss General Consul. This ceremony not only marks a milestone in cooperation but also tightens the relationship between the two institutions.
Objectives of the MOU:
‣ To recognize and foster the shared interest in the development of business and cultural ties between Vietnamese, German, and Swiss businesses.
‣ To enhance collaboration and create partnership opportunities among the members of both associations.
‣ To promote networking, business matchmaking activities, and generate new business opportunities for members.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of distinguished guests including the Consul General of Switzerland Mr. Werner Bardill and his spouse Mrs. Zhinjing Zhong, President of the SBA Mr. Jean-Paul Haessig, and from the GBA, Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Vice-Chairman Mr. Martin Koerner, along with Board members Ms. Betty Duong, Mr. Dirk Arend, and Mr. Johannes Klausch, and others.
In his address, GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe affirmed the importance of the German-Swiss cooperation and the positive impact it has on the business landscape, in particular for our members often being active in both countries. “Today’s MOU signing is a testament to our commitment to building bridges between cultures and economies. Together, we are setting a foundation for a future where our members can thrive through mutual support and shared vision – creating joint opportunities and working as one strong voice towards our Vietnamese partners” said Mr. Ziehe.
The MOU is expected to pave the way for a series of collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the business environment and cultural exchange among the Vietnamese, German, and Swiss business communities.
