On June 19, Ho Chi Minh City was buzzing with excitement as we all came together for the ‘Fanmeile’ public viewing event to cheer on our favorite teams in the Euro Cup 2024. It was a night where the love for European football took center stage!
Thanks to the combined efforts of the German Business Association (GBA), AHK Vietnam, and Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, under the patronage of the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, with the support of Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (CEEC), we turned the city into a mini football festival.
The evening was lively and cheerful, with two giant screens and powerful surround sound that made us feel like we were right there in the stadium, watching Croatia vs. Albania and Germany vs. Hungary battle it out. With over 300 guests and friends from the German and Central and Eastern European Countries’ consulates, institutions, and communities, the ‘Fanmeile’ wasn’t just about watching football; it was about creating memories and strengthening the ties that bind us all together.
