Flashback: June NextGenTreff with Alexander Ziehe

At our last meetup, we had the pleasure of welcoming Alexander Ziehe, Chairman of the German Business Association Vietnam.

He gave us a fascinating insight into his long-standing career and leadership experience, particularly his journey of moving out of Germany and working in Southeast Asia. He generously shared stories, lessons learned, and practical advice that proved valuable no matter which field we are currently studying. Mr. Ziehe told us three things that touched us the most:

1. Stay open: To the new, the unfamiliar, the uncomfortable. That’s where real growth begins.
2. Find your performance zone: Beyond the comfort zone. That’s where momentum builds.
3. Don’t be afraid to move on: If your environment holds you back, change it before it changes you.
