Are you a young professional in Ho Chi Minh City?
Are you currently doing an internship, doing research, studying, volunteering, or looking for job opportunities in Vietnam – and feel like you’re the only one? You’re not alone!
We’re excited to invite you to the next edition of the GBA NextGenTreff – an evening of cold drinks, meaningful conversations, and new perspectives on working and living in Vietnam as a young international professional.
This time, we are proud to welcome Alexander Bischoff, General Manager of United Potteries Saigon, as our guest speaker.
He will share insights into his personal career path, his leadership experience in Vietnam, and what it’s like to work with German companies in Southeast Asia.

Flashback: April NextGenTreff with Erick Contreras
At our last meetup, we had the pleasure of welcoming Erick Contreras, Managing Director of BASF Vietnam, GBA EuroCham Delegate, and board member of the German Business Association.
He shared his inspiring international career journey, spoke about the key milestones that shaped his path, and gave us personal insights into the skills and mindset that helped him grow.
During his talk, he addressed many of our questions – from career orientation, personal development and work-life balance, to relocation experiences and the future of the chemical industry. It was an open, honest, and highly engaging discussion that left us motivated and inspired.
