Since the Đổi Mới reforms began in 1986 and the lifting of the US embargo in 1994, Vietnam has experienced rapid growth and liberalization. This transformation has also significantly boosted German business activities in Vietnam and for the German business association.

Over the past 30 years, German companies have navigated various highs, such as Vietnam’s WTO membership, and challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, demonstrating resilience in constantly changing market conditions.
