David Will | General Director of DRÄXLMAIER Vietnam
Mr. David Will is the General Director and Plant Manager at DRAEXLMAIER Automotive Vietnam. Over the past decade, Mr. Will has been an integral part of the DRÄXLMAIER Group, contributing to its growth and success by ramping up new and existing production and development sites across Europe. His journey within the company has been marked by various key positions: Global HR Director for Operations, Regional HR Director for Western/Central Europe, and Interim HR Manager in various production plants.
Founded in 2020, DRAEXLMAIER Automotive Vietnam is constantly expanding its operations and is projected to exceed 1,000 employees by 2025. With awarded business until 2035, the total headcount is expected to reach about 2,000 people by 2029.
David’s unique background as a psychologist and Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt brings key enablers to the growth of the plant in Vietnam, particularly through a strong focus on leadership development at all levels and ambitious Operational Excellence goals.
His main objective in working for the GBA is to establish a network of German and European companies in central Vietnam that allows for a strong and united voice, especially when dealing with policy issues.
