CALL FOR NOMINATIONS | GBA BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2026
Dear GBA Members,
The German Business Association (GBA) invites eligible members to submit their nominations for the GBA Board of Directors 2026, to be elected at the upcoming GBA Annual General Meeting in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. This is an opportunity for committed individuals to actively contribute to the development and representation of the German business community in Vietnam.
As the GBA enters another milestone year in its long-standing journey of supporting, representing, and connecting the German business community in Vietnam, the Board continues to play a central role in shaping the Association’s direction. We encourage dedicated and committed members to step forward and contribute their expertise, leadership, and perspectives to the ongoing development of the GBA.
Role of the GBA Board of Directors
The Board of Directors consists of up to fifteen elected members. Together, they provide strategic guidance, represent member interests in key dialogues, and support the Association’s programs and initiatives throughout the year.
GBA Board members meet monthly and work closely with the Executive Director and the GBA Office Team. The position requires a reasonable time commitment and active engagement in Board discussions and activities.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify as a candidate, members must meet the following criteria:
1. Membership Status

Be the Corporate Representative of an Ordinary Corporate Member, or
-
Be an Ordinary Individual Member of the GBA
(Associate Members are not eligible to run for the Board.)

Important: You must be the official representative of your company as stated on your GBA Membership Card.
2. Nomination Requirement
Each candidate must be nominated by two (2) Corporate Representatives of Ordinary Corporate Members or Ordinary Individual Members. Please ensure your referees are eligible to nominate before submitting your form. A scanned copy of the nomination form is acceptable for submission, but the original document must be presented at the AGM.
