Alexander Bischoff | General Manager of United Potteries Saigon
Alex Bischoff is a German National, born in Hamburg. He was exposed early on, to the trading company his parents built up. He followed their path and became a student of foreign trade. He lives and works in Vietnam since 1998. Mr. Bischoff has taken a proactive role in developing his business. He has also been active in the business community where he was elected into several key positions to promote and expand the business exchange between Germany, Europe and Vietnam. Mr. Bischoff has been invited as a guest lecturer and keynote speaker by Governments and Universities. He shared his experience while conducting workshops for companies and institutions in Vietnam, focusing on how to develop a successful business in the country. Through the past years, he also took an active role in supporting newly arrived executives in Vietnam.

In charge of the strategy and integration from a European-funded organization to a member-based association. Ensuring that most European business associations join EuroCham Vietnam with their members. Starting the first working groups to speak with one voice about pan-European interests.

In charge of developing and implementing the events of each year. Conducting the monthly meetings, excursions and social events. In 2010 the GBA conducted 42 events with over 20.000 participants. He also supports the Working groups to give their input through the “White Book” – a EuroCham initiative – to the Vietnamese Government.
