RÖDL Vietnam FDI Forum 2026: Growth Through Supply Chain Localisation & Value Chain Integration

You are warmly invited to the 4th Annual FDI Forum, hosted by RÖDL Vietnam on Thursday, 12 November 2026, under the theme “Growth Through Supply Chain Localisation & Value Chain Integration.”

Vietnam has built one of Asia’s strongest manufacturing bases. The next stage is harder: deepening the local supplier network behind it. Most foreign manufacturers here still import the components that carry the most value, and incentives increasingly reward those who source and produce locally. The Forum looks at what it takes to close that gap.

This year’s Forum, “Growth Through Supply Chain Localisation & Value Chain Integration works through the questions that raises:

• Where is the next wave of investment going, and what is it looking for that Vietnam does not yet reliably offer?
• Which incentives are now conditional on localisation and technology transfer, and what does it take to actually qualify?
• What does localisation change in daily operations — invoicing, VAT credits, contractor tax, documentation, audit exposure?
• How do Vietnamese suppliers finance the quality and capacity investment their customers are asking for, and is that capital reaching them?
• When is a joint venture the right structure, and when does it become the problem?
• How do currency and interest rate conditions shape what is worth localising at all?
