On 16 September 2026, the German Business Association (GBA) successfully hosted the inaugural GBA Business Solutions Showcase at Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City, welcoming around 200 participants for an afternoon of practical insights, business solutions, and meaningful connections.
The event was honored by the presence of GBA Treasurer Mr. Max Rummert, GBA EuroCham Delegate Mr. André de Jong, and GBA Board Members Mr. Michael Wekezer and Mr. Daniel Henn, who joined members, exhibitors, speakers, and business professionals from across industries. Their participation reflected the GBA’s continued commitment to fostering a strong, connected, and solutions-driven business community.
Designed as a new platform to bring business needs and professional expertise under one roof, the Showcase connected companies and service providers across legal, HR, banking, insurance, logistics, IT, tax, consulting, and other professional services.
The afternoon combined industry keynotes, expert-led solution-sharing sessions, exhibition booths, and dedicated business matching, giving participants the opportunity not only to learn about current business challenges, but also to meet potential partners and explore practical solutions for their organizations.
A key highlight was the exchange of perspectives on how companies select and engage with service providers, complemented by expert sessions covering topics ranging from data protection and legal risk to executive positioning, sustainability, business support, and corporate travel solutions.
More importantly, the strong turnout and lively interactions throughout the afternoon demonstrated what the Showcase was created for: turning expertise into connections, and connections into potential business opportunities.
The momentum continued into the evening with GBA DeutschenTreff HCMC, providing an informal setting for participants to continue conversations, reconnect with familiar faces, and expand their networks within the German-Vietnamese and international business community.
