The countdown to GBA Oktoberfest Hanoi 2026 officially began on 10 September 2026, as the German Business Association (GBA) in Vietnam hosted its press conference at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi.
The event welcomed around 30 guests, including media representatives, sponsors, partners, GBA members, and friends of the German business community, offering an exciting preview of this year’s Oktoberfest celebration in Hanoi.
The press conference brought together key representatives of the German business community and event partners, including Mr. Alexander Ziehe, GBA Chairman, Mr. Björn Koslowski, Deputy Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam & GBA Vice Chairman, Ms. Cory Tarenio, Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, Ms. Hoang Thanh Xuan, External Communication and Branding Manager of Messer Hai Phong Industrial Gases Co., Ltd and Ms. Trang Pham – GBA Representatives in Haiphong.
The gathering highlighted the important role of GBA Oktoberfest as more than a celebration of German culture and traditions. Over the years, the event has also become a valuable platform for bringing together businesses, partners, members, and the wider German–Vietnamese community.
A First Taste of Oktoberfest in Hanoi
Following the press conference, guests had the opportunity to experience a taste of the Oktoberfest atmosphere, with traditional German-inspired culinary offerings, hospitality, and networking.
The gathering offered a first glimpse of what guests can look forward to at GBA Oktoberfest Hanoi 2026, returning to JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi this October.
