The German Business Association (GBA), in collaboration with Core5 Vietnam and Aperam Magnetic Components (AMC), successfully organized an industrial excursion to Hai Phong, bringing together more than 30 GBA members for a day of factory visits, industry insights, and business networking.
The excursion offered participants an opportunity to gain first-hand perspectives on Hai Phong’s rapidly developing industrial ecosystem and its growing role as a strategic manufacturing and logistics hub in Northern Vietnam.
Exploring Hai Phong’s Industrial Landscape
The programme began with a visit to Core5 Factory Village 1, located in Nam Dinh Vu Industrial Park. Participants were introduced to Core5’s modern ready-built factory solutions, which are designed to provide flexible and efficient facilities for manufacturers and investors establishing or expanding their operations in Vietnam.
The visit provided valuable insights into the infrastructure and solutions supporting Vietnam’s growing manufacturing sector, while highlighting the importance of high-quality industrial facilities in attracting international investment.
The group then continued to Aperam Magnetic Components (AMC) for a company introduction and guided factory tour. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about AMC’s advanced manufacturing processes, operational standards, and its role in serving global supply chains.
The factory visit offered a practical look at how international manufacturing companies operate in Vietnam, from production processes and operational excellence to quality standards and supply chain integration.
Connecting with Industry Professionals
Beyond the factory visits, the excursion created an opportunity for GBA members to engage directly with industry professionals and exchange perspectives on key developments in Northern Vietnam.
Discussions covered topics including investment trends, industrial infrastructure, manufacturing development, and supply chain opportunities, giving participants a broader understanding of the factors shaping Hai Phong’s business environment.
Representing GBA at the excursion were Ms. Trang Tiffany Pham, GBA Haiphong Representative, and Mr. Lutz Koch, GBA Hanoi Representative, who joined members and partners throughout the programme.
Hai Phong Meets Europe: Continuing the Conversation
The afternoon programme concluded with Hai Phong Meets Europe at Pullman Hai Phong, bringing together GBA members, partners, and friends from the local business community for networking and business exchange.
The gathering provided a valuable platform to continue conversations from the day’s excursion, strengthen connections among international and local businesses, and explore potential opportunities within Hai Phong’s growing international business ecosystem.
