The German Business Association (GBA), in collaboration with the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (KOCHAM), successfully organized an exclusive business excursion to Hai Phong with a visit to the Top Run Vietnam Factory on 26 May 2026.
Bringing together nearly 30 participants from the international business community, the excursion provided valuable insights into Vietnam’s rapidly developing industrial ecosystem and Hai Phong’s growing role as a strategic manufacturing hub for foreign direct investment.
The event was attended by GBA Chairman – Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Vice Chairman – Mr. Bjoern Koslowski, Board Member – Michael Wekezer, Jan-Christian Koldeholff, Daniel Henn, GBA Haiphong Representative – Ms. Trang Tiffany Pham, and GBA members for an in-depth look into one of the region’s advanced manufacturing operations.
The delegation was warmly welcomed and guided by Mr. Kim Jin Seung, General Director of Top Run Vietnam Factory, who provided participants with a comprehensive introduction to the company’s operations, manufacturing capabilities, and its role within the global supply chain.
The factory tour offered valuable first-hand exposure to several key production areas, including injection molding, optical component assembly, and coating lines. Participants gained practical insights into Top Run Vietnam’s high-precision manufacturing processes and quality standards as a supplier to major international corporations, including LG and several prominent German automotive brands.
The visit provided a meaningful platform for knowledge exchange, allowing members to better understand manufacturing trends, automation practices, and supply chain opportunities within Hai Phong’s growing industrial ecosystem. It also served as an excellent opportunity for networking and strengthening business ties among participating companies.
