This morning, the German Business Association (GBA) hosted vibrant New Member Onboarding sessions in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, welcoming 43 new members who joined in the first quarter of the year. The meeting was graced by the presence of GBA Chairman Mr. Alexander Ziehe, along with Board members Mr. Björn Koslowski, Mr. Daniel Henn, Mr. Jan-Christian Koldehoff, and Mr. Michael Wekezer.
In his address, Chairman Mr. Ziehe provided an insightful overview of the GBA’s mission, vision, and pivotal activities within Vietnam. The GBA remains dedicated to its core mission to bolster economic and trade relations between Germany and Vietnam, advocating for its members and nurturing synergies with key partners.
The agenda also featured an in-depth discussion on leveraging the advantages of GBA membership and the synergistic benefits of dual membership with EuroCham. Special emphasis was placed on the unique opportunities provided through the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), which is integrated into the worldwide network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs). The session concluded with a networking event, fostering connections among new members and reinforcing the GBA’s commitment to community building and active member participation.
