[Recap] GBA Business Awards 2025 – An Inspiring Night of Recognition For Outstanding Achievements

On Friday, September 19, 2025, the German Business Association (GBA) proudly hosted the GBA Business Awards 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. This year’s edition was especially meaningful, marking the 30th anniversary of GBA in Vietnam and reaffirming its role as a bridge for German–Vietnamese cooperation.

On this memorable occasion, GBA presented commemorative tokens of appreciation as a tribute to long-standing partners, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the Association’s milestones and achievements. 

The event was more than just an award ceremony. It was an inspiring night that celebrated outstanding enterprises for their achievements in Green Business, Business Innovation, and Community Impact while also reflecting on three decades of growth, collaboration, and shared success.

The award night was graced by the presence of H.E. Andrea Maria Sühl, Consul General of Germany in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Chairman of the German Business Association, as well as representatives from leading corporations, SMEs, and partners across diverse industries.

In her speech, H.E. Andrea Maria Sühl emphasized the importance of sustainable investment and innovation, highlighting German companies’ commitment to Vietnam’s long-term prosperity through world-class training, employment opportunities, and responsible business practices.

Mr. Alexander Ziehe, Chairman of GBA, remarked: The GBA Business Awards celebrate excellence while highlighting the vital role our members play in Vietnam’s economic growth. This year’s winners, recognized for their innovation and resilience, will represent the German business community at the EuroCham Business Awards 2025, further strengthening our presence within the European business community in Vietnam.”

The top finalists of this year’s Awards will proudly represent the German – Vietnamese business community at the upcoming EuroCham Business Awards 2025 on October 30th, 2025. This milestone creates new opportunities for German enterprises in Vietnam to gain greater visibility within the broader European business community.
