On August 8, 2025, In alignment with Vietnam’s industrial growth and reaffirming its leading position in the industrial gases sector, Messer in Vietnam officially inaugurated the Messer Quang Ngai Air Separation Complex – one of the most advanced industrial gas production facilities in Vietnam – located in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai Province.
At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Tran Phuoc Hien, Vice Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized the significance of Messer’s presence to the province and expressed high expectations for the company’s continued development in the region.
Also speaking at the event, H.E. Julien Guerrier, Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Vietnam, affirmed that the inauguration of Messer’s new plant in Quang Ngai is a clear testament to the EU’s long-term commitment to sustainable development in Vietnam and highlighted Messer’s pioneering role in the global industrial gas industry.
H.E. Helga Barth, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, also praised Messer’s contribution to the deepening Germany-Vietnam partnership and especially recognized its groundbreaking efforts in green hydrogen production as part of the sustainable development journey.
From Messer Group, Chairman Mr. Stefan Messer and CEO Mr. Bernd Eulitz attended the ceremony and extended their congratulations on the successful launch of the plant. They also reiterated Messer Group’s strong commitment to long-term, stable development in Vietnam.
On behalf of Messer in Vietnam, Mr. Anthony Yohann Grandpierre, General Director, shared:
“This project marks a key milestone in Messer’s strategy to expand investment and production in both Vietnam and the wider region. The complex is equipped with advanced technology and operated to international standards, enabling the supply of a wide range of industrial gases for various essential manufacturing and processing sectors.”
Key products of the complex include:
- Industrial gases: Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, etc.
- Rare and specialty gases: Hydrogen, Krypton, Xenon, Neon, Helium, etc.
- Diverse supply systems: Pipeline supply, liquid supply, and cylinder delivery systems, among others.
The official operation of this complex marks a significant milestone in Messer’s development journey in Vietnam, enhancing the country’s industrial gas production capacity while laying the groundwork to serve markets across Southeast Asia.
Through this project, Messer continues to reinforce its long-term investment and sustainability commitment in Vietnam, accompanying the growth of key industrial sectors.
