HCMC, January 13 – GBA Vice-Chairman Mr. Martin Koerner represented German Business Association – GBA at the 2025 New Year reception hosted by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. German Consul Dr. Josephine Wallat, Deputy Consul General Mr. Christopher Scholl, and other counterparts also joined.
At the event, Chairman Mr. Phan Văn Mãi highlighted Ho Chi Minh City’s 2024 economic achievements, including a 7.17% GRDP growth rate and budget revenue surpassing US$20 billion. He emphasized ongoing efforts to enhance the business and living environment and address issues promptly.
On behalf of the GBA Board and members, he extended the best wishes to Party Secretary Mr. Nguyễn Văn Nên, Chairman Mr. Phan Văn Mãi, and the Vietnamese government. As we celebrate 30 years of GBA this year, we are deeply committed to working closely with the Vietnamese authorities. Together, we look forward to a prosperous year of collaboration and growth in 2025.
