we are pleased to inform you that we will organize a workshop on the topic of waste management in Vietnam with the focus on packaging. We sincerely invite you as a representative of German Business Association. Attached you can find your personal invitation.
 
During this event, we are expecting the participation from industry and academia from Vietnam and Germany. Our objective is to present and to map waste management practices in Vietnam and Germany. This common vision is intended to facilitate the discussion on pathways to evaluate the needs for research, development and joint collaboration to improve the current situation of waste management in Vietnam.
 
In detail, following topics are specifically addressed:

•    Importance of waste management for packaging waste,
•    Challenges and opportunities for waste collection and treatment, and
•    Potential synergies between stakeholders in waste management in Vietnam.
•    Prerequisites for an efficient collaboration between Germany and Vietnam

An agenda of the workshop is provided within this invitation.
 
The workshop is organized in two locations Hanoi and Ho-Chi-Minh-City with the same topic in order to reach representative audience for the two largest cities in Vietnam. English will be used as communication language. The participation is free of charge. All registered participants receive an executive summary of the results after the event.
