DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM, a leading IT enterprise, announced its investment plan into the Innovation Services Center – ISC Hau Giang at the Conference to Announce the Provincial Planning of Hau Giang 2030 with a Vision to 2050 on December 12, 2023. The company received a project implementation certificate from the Hau Giang People’s Committee, becoming one of the first IT enterprises to invest in the province. This event demonstrates DIGI-TEXX VIETNAM’s dedication to providing innovative digital solutions to businesses in Hau Giang and supporting the province’s long-term development goals. The conference was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr. Tran Luu Quang, the Chairman of Hau Giang People’s Committee Mr. Dong Van Thanh, the GBA Vice-chairman Mr. Martin Koerner, and the Executive Director of GBA Mrs. Le Quynh Anh.
According to the plan, the goal is that by 2030, Hau Giang will become a good industrial province of the Mekong Delta region. A vision to 2050, Hau Giang is a province with a fairly developed level of the country, the industrial production and logistics center of the Mekong Delta region. The Chairman of Hau Giang People’s Committee Mr. Dong Van Thanh said that he is synchronously implementing the core values of provincial planning, sustainable development on all three economic – social – environmental pillars. He is determined to make a breakthrough in administrative reform, clearly improve the quality of the investment and business environment, and enhance digital transformation, by creating development and accompanying people and businesses, and develop human resources, especially high quality human resources.
Speaking at the announcement of Hau Giang province’s planning, the Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam Mr. Tran Luu Quang suggested that because Hau Giang has a planning, it is determined to stick to it and make it effective. Promote it so that people can understand, join hands and contribute, and at the same time develop a plan to implement this planning.
The main functions of ISC Hau Giang:
- Conduct IT research – development, application, and transfer activities;
- Producing and trading IT products, providing IT services;
- Training IT human resources;
- Incubating technology and IT businesses;
- Promote IT trade; organize fairs, exhibitions, and demonstrations of IT products and services;
- Promote domestic and foreign investment to promote IT activities;
- Providing infrastructure, services, and necessary conditions for organizations and businesses operating in the area to perform the above functions and tasks.
The establishment of the ISC Hau Giang aims to create a center for information technology, provide infrastructure for the application and development of information technology, and form a center for research and development of information technology products to serve training and technology transfer in the field of information technology. Through the establishment of the ISC Hau Giang, the province hopes to build information technology products and services that can replace imported products, contributing to the development of the following sectors: telecommunications, finance, banking, commerce, public services, education, training, health care, etc.
