GBA Monthly Business Meeting | Logistic Infrastructure in South Vietnam

Co-hosted by the German Business Association (GBA) & the Belgian and Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BeluxCham)

Logistic infrastructure is the backbone of any economy, as it enables the efficient and effective movement of goods and services across different regions and markets. In South Vietnam, logistic infrastructure is especially crucial, as it supports the development of various industries, such as manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and e-commerce.

However, logistic infrastructure in South Vietnam also faces many challenges and limitations. These challenges hinder the competitiveness and growth potential of South Vietnam’s economy, as well as its integration with regional and global markets. Therefore, it is imperative to find solutions and strategies to improve logistic infrastructure in South Vietnam.

In this meeting, we will focus on three key aspects of logistic infrastructure in South Vietnam that are of high importance and interest for our business community:

1. Infrastructure in South-Vietnam and the impact on the transportation costs
2. Over-supply of warehousing versus decrease in demand
3. Green logistics: the challenge of MNC’s targets of carbon neutral goals on the logistics industry
