Mr. Horst Geicke is the Chairman, CEO and Investor of the Deutsches Haus Ho Chi Minh City in partnership with the Foreign Ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Mr. Geicke was the founding President and the Board Member of the Hongkong-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce from 2005 to 2018 and has been the Board Member of German Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong since 1995.
He was the Board Member and Co-owner of Sofitel Metropole Legend Hotel Hanoi (2004-2013), the Founder and Chairman of VinaCapital (2003), the Chairman of Vinaland (2004-2010), and the Chairman of Vietnam Opportunities Fund listed on London Stock Exchange (2003-2012).
Since 2019, Mr. Geicke has been the Board Member, Vice-Chairman of the GBA. Moreover, he has been the Chairman of the School Board of International German School in Ho Chi Minh City (IGS) since 2016.
Mr. Geicke studied Economics and Business Law in the University of Hamburg (Germany). He has been working and living with his family from 2004 in Vietnam.
