Mr. Winfrid Messmer
Digital: From First Strategic Advise Until Implementation
Winfrid is an experienced senior consultant, manager and executive with a proven history of work. He graduated in electrical engineering, economics and in international business administration. He started his career in space-research for eight years and shifted from the technical perspective to economics and business management and joined the international consulting industry for more than 30 years. Besides full-time projects work he supported students and enterprises as part-time Professor for business computer science at a Dual University in Germany.
The expertise and experiences are IT, ERP, SAP, BPM, international accounting and reporting, project- and change-management and of course digitalization and digital transformation. The radius of action extends from strategic consulting until implementation of digital solutions in medium-sized to global enterprises and public services with pronounced international travel in global rollouts in SE-ASIA, US and Europe. He worked with Roland Berger, IBM, KPMG, IDS, SAP, Accenture, McKinsey, PWC, EY and served customers such as Siemens, Airbus, Bayer, DHL, DE/CH-Ministries, Pfizer, Gieseke & Devrient in driver seats. Since August 2018 he supports the Vietnamese-German University in Binh Duong on the journey of automation and digital-transformation.
He is also member of chambers in Vietnam and Germany and had chaired the Digital Committee of Euro Cham Vietnam. He is active on major events in Vietnam as Adviser or Speaker in topics of digitalization and digital transformation.
Besides all he is a passionate Saxophonist also on stage if work-life-balance allows.
