Marko Walde | Chief Representative of the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Viet Nam

Mr. Walde is the Chief Representative of Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam) with both offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. He has been living in Vietnam since 2011 and has been a Board Member of GBA for more than ten years and would like to contribute further to the German business community in Vietnam.

In this role, Mr. Walde is promoting German entrepreneurial success in Vietnam, building bridges, facilitating access, providing contacts, solving problems and organizing Vocational Training. Together with the AHK Vietnam, he is #PartnerForGrowth and #PartnerInVietnam – for German companies, willing to expand their business activities in Vietnam or which have already established their presence here. AHK Vietnam is a member of the German economy’s strong network (AHKs) with 140 offices in 92 countries.

He studied law at the University of Rostock and took over the position as Deputy Managing Director of the German-Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw/Poland from 2002 to 2007. The followed four years Mr. Walde served as General Manager of the German-Romanian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Bucharest/Romania.
