Monthly Business Meeting: Final Pitch of the GBA Business Challenge 2023

The GBA Business Challenge was initiated by the German Business Association since 2020, with the idea to support local young talents with good, forward-thinking ideas to turn their visions into a real business, equipping them with [Entrepreneurial Tools], [Real Life Business Experience] and a [Starting Fund].

This year, we received a lot of convincing business concepts, all of which fulfilled this year’s theme of our idea targeting a [social, environmental, or sustainable] issue. After a 6-month training and evaluation process, the five most outstanding teams have finally been selected out of 50 startups from different cities across Vietnam to enter the final pitch, which will take place on Monday, 6 November 2023, at Sofitel Plaza Saigon.

• AGROWISE: AgroWise provides farmers with an innovative and sustainable agricultural system utilizing IoT technology, enabling remote control and monitoring of the entire system from any location.
• CAREER UP: CareerUp is a university advising website with professional orientation consulting services with experts through personality testing and giving appropriate orientation through AI technology.
• ENSOVER: Ensover is created with the aim of increasing the water hyacinth’s value in Vietnam and resolving social and environmental issues.
• MEDIFIND: MediFind is a helpful app that promotes the safe use of antibiotics. It does this by analyzing the ingredient list, providing advice and warnings.
• EDUBIN: EduBin offers a bigger waste dataset and better sustainable solutions, empowering individuals, businesses, and organizations with data-driven insights to transform waste management and reduce environmental impact.
